The Fibo antennas was developed by Telenor Research and Development (at that time called Norwegian Telecom Research) in co-operation with Fibo-Støp. More Telektronikk issues can be found on http://www.telenor.com/telektronikk and http://www.telektronikk.no
since 03.07.2001
There is an article about "gregorian" offsetantennas in Telektronikk 4 1992

120cm antenna assembly
Polarmount for 120cm antenna (old version - later changed to the far better Jaeger style H-H mount)
Fixed mount for 120cm antenna
Pulse circuit for
polarmountmotors.
(There are
two different pulse circuits depending on how old the motor is)
Spec optical switch H22B1 : If you
dont have the orginal Fibo polarmount for your 90cm or 120cm Fibo I recommend H-H mounts from Jaeger.
Some of this polarmounts even supports actuator for tracking. It should not be to difficult
fitting a
Fibo on this mounts. See also: The best C120 LNB I have
tested on the Fibo is the MTI
AP8-TW with a claimed nf=0.4dB (typ) compared with Invacom SNF-031 0.3dB (typ)
and Digistar/Digiality SC-1 0.7dB (typ) on Astra 2D. MTI LNB's does not fit on the Fibo55cm but the Invacom SNF-031 fits wery well onto the 55cm I get a lot of mail about
spare parts and where to buy theese antennas. Unfortunatly the
company that manufactured this antennas (Fibo-Støp) does not exist and have not since
the mid 90's. It is almost impossible to get spareparts now. Satmueller.de sell Fibo antenna under the Master Focus name. Satmueller might have spare parts. 20©04 Jens T. Satre
